Best of GWATFL Award
The Best of GWATFL Award recognizes an outstanding presentation that exemplifies the highest standards of excellence in world language education. This award honors a session that is not only engaging and innovative but also provides educators with meaningful insights, research-based strategies, and practical tools to enhance language learning and intercultural competence in the classroom.
Each year, this distinction is awarded to the highest-rated session from our main conference in the fall, as determined by participant evaluations submitted through the Sched app. Attendees provide feedback on content quality, presenter effectiveness, and overall impact, ensuring that the selected session represents the best of what GWATFL has to offer. The recipient of this award will receive complimentary registration to the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (NECTFL), where they will have the honor of presenting their session as part of the Best of NECTFL showcase. This opportunity allows them to share their expertise with a wider audience and further contribute to the advancement of world language education.
