GWATFL MAP [Member Action Program]

To better serve our members, the GWATFL Board is constantly looking for ways to create more opportunities to connect with and impact our community of language educators. ​

Since 1965 GWATFL has been committed to providing professional development and advocacy opportunities for world language educators.  We envision language professionals collaborating and advocating in the pursuit of developing passionate multilingual global citizens.

GWATFL is committed to
  • support your leadership initiatives that align with GWATFL Vision and Mission
  • provide you with an electronic badge to display in your communications 
  • display your GWATFL MAP profile on the GWATFL website 
  • if applicable, create a unique page or space for your initiative
As GWATFL MAP leader you are committed to
  • attend 2 GWATFL MAP Meetings a year to hear what other MAP leaders are doing and to share your own initiatives
  • plan and lead a GWATFL MAP convening or session at GWATFL fall and spring conferences 
  • promote your MAP initiative through articles, social media, etc. 
  • (optional) apply to being part of the GWATFL Board after becoming a GWATFL MAP leader
