GWATFL’s long established mission is focused on supporting World Language teachers. In these uncertain and challenging times, there has been great interest by our community on professional development and advocacy opportunities.

In response, we would like to introduce to you to GWATFL TIPS [Teaching Insights for Professional Success], our initiative to help members of the World Language community adapt and thrive through sharing and supporting one another.

Provided in short videos on YouTube, GWATFL TIPS will give you access to presenters’ expertise with the language community locally, nationally, and globally. Focus will be on strategies for delivering instruction online, developing curriculum, mindfulness, social justice, and other topics that inspire and engage.

While our main focus is to respond to the needs of those on the front lines, our world language teachers, this series also aims to assist administrators, department chairs, heads of schools, and others who come into contact with our profession.
